Paradise is
the essence of her tenderness and care
Heart and
soul she raised me up, dressed me from toe to head
Even when I
rebelled she was the one who held the olive branch
Never gave
up a fight for me and made me believe in second chance
Often she
sacrificed so I can live in peace and be at ease
Mother, one
in a million my first love, my life’s breeze
Every time
I try to understand how she absorbed the pain I get only confusion
Never knew
such a heart that survived so much bruises
A mystery that doesn't have to be revealed, she had brought a man out of a seed
Long live our mothers, our shining stars above the ocean of troubles and difficulties
Long live our mothers, our shining stars above the ocean of troubles and difficulties
smiles...my mom was the one that held the olive branch out to me as well when i rebelled...moms are special like that...
ReplyDeleteThanks man..I hope you're not as rebellious as me.. I feel that someday my mom's gonna bring a shotgun instead of an olive branch :D yeah..we'd better value our mothers before it's too late.
DeleteC'est magnifique. What a lovely tribute to your mom - I love the line
ReplyDeleteA mystery that doesn't have to be revealed, she brought a man out of seed.
Lovely.
Merci beaucoup :) I think that my writings have been deeply influenced by that mystery.
DeleteIt sounds as if you had a very special mom and you appreciated all she went through. I think eventually all children (hopefully) come to that realization that mothering is a special talent and a special gift.
ReplyDeleteIndeed ma'm. If you'll see what she had been gone through in the process of bringing me up, this writing may seem very very little. I guess this maybe the case with all mothers.
ReplyDeleteWe children have got to understand the talent of mothering so we can act wisely and correctly towards our mothers.
Beautiful dedication to a mother. Yes. moms are phenomenal!!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)..yep they are phenomenally mysterious too.
DeleteSo lovely to read such a tender poem from a man to his mother. Thanks so much for taking part in the Pantry!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome ma'm :) Thank you for taking time to read the poem. And such writing is the least a son can give to his mother in such a day.
ReplyDelete"Never gave up a fight for me and made me believe in second chance
ReplyDeleteOften she sacrificed so I can live in peace and be at ease"
those lines truly got to me wordy, I owe her my past, present and future ....
I envy you're expression abilities now ... =) going green on you .. =)
way to go tino ... i'll be around waiting for more & more & more and even MORE of those truthful words of yours :D
hihihihihi..don't envy me much, at some point words will turn against you :D.
ReplyDeleteOur mothers are our guarding angels, so much sacrifice have been done that we don't know about.
Thank you very much for the kind words ARTI. Very nice of you to pass by ;)
